Granite composes the wall that erodes
As I walk from the street in the middle of nowhere
On a quest to find somewhere
That isn't so lonely.

Granite composes the walkway eroding
Beneath my feet, it's all starting
To fade again, to disappear,
To dissipate into nothingness.

And if I lose I know I've got the right
To decipher all I've ever wondered
And I won't let the night go lighter,
I will cast down levity, I'm a fighter!

Granite is the only enemy,
Granite is the only friend of me,
It's hard to tell what I should lend to see
Everything that's right in front of me.

'Cos if I lose I know I've got the right
To decipher all I've ever wondered
And I won't let the night go lighter,
I will cast down levity, I'm a fighter!

As the world once known erodes in front of me,
I let go and start to aimlessly
Charge down roads I've never seen before,
I'm so lost but full of hope again.

And if I lose I know I've got the right
To decipher all I've ever wondered
And I won't let the night go lighter,
I will cast down levity, I'm a fighter!

As the world once loved fades in front of me,
I take no steps to save it from the end,
I've got nothing but a segregated heart
And way-of-speak, I've got nothing left
To say to thee.

'Cos if I lose I know I've got the right
To decipher all I've ever wondered
And I won't let the night go lighter,
I will cast down levity, I'm a fighter...

But what if I win and the granite withstands
All the forces against it, the forces of man,
What if I win when I don't even want
To advance even further than where I now stand...?
