i always feel like there's somebody in my head, looking through my eyes, just being there. i know there's not, but the more you think about something, the more you believe it. sometimes i'm in a car, looking out the window, and i'll think, wow, imagine how awesome this wold be for someone from 300 years ago... and then suddenly i seem to believe there is somebody like that inside me, and i get exited as if its the first time I've ever been in a car. or i'll look at something, like the TV or my laptop, and think about how interesting those things would be for an alien with very different technology to our own, and then suddenly i'll feel like there is an alien looking through my eyes, and i'll become curious and at the same time try to explain to myself (the alien) how those things work and what their functions are.

does anyone know where i'm coming from? :confused:

Well I think you've got a terrific imagination and you should let it develope and start writing. Maybe one day you'll be a successful author

I do that too, I'm pretty sure we all have weird habits like that.
I always think stuff like when I'm texting I wonder how many people in the world named Amanda with the same phone are texting. Or, how many people are playing this game with this exact game console and are on the same level as me.

If you want, I think it'd be really cool to read some of your things.
I don't think this is a mental issue of any form, but just the fact that your able to put yourself in someone(/thing) else's position and react to situations from that perspective.
This is an incredible skill for Authors and Actors. *nods*
