hair color?

i really want to dye my hair... soo badly... is there a way were it won't damage.. and how do i convince my mom... nd dad...
in ur opinion wat looks better.... i have brown/black hair now... btw want something different... i know its my decision to change my hair but whats ur opnion which color:?

dark red
redish/purplish
or black

dark red, keeping a few dark brown streaks

umm if you condition your hair after and continue for the next few days it shud be fine, jsut don't wash it too vigorously, also look for a dye that is "amonia free" amonia is a harsh chemical that causes ur hair ot be dry and frizzy, alot of dyes use it but some don't...either way just condition and be gentle with ur hair and it'll be fine, i dye mine often and it's never dry/damaged

Dark Red. I love dark red colour. I dyed mine that colour two years ago. Um, yeah. Basically what was said above. I especially like the dark brown low lights. (:
