i think its great!
like its not one of those paintings that need to be absolutely perfect to capture the moment. nature isn't perfect and is flexible, the painting looks like it just flows with everything.
i think its very capturing and pretty :)

Hey it looks really good. Not what I expected when I clicked on the pic. I think whats most captivating about your painting is that it has a unique style and that is very important.

That's freakin' awesome
You definitely should paint some more
Im not just saying this. That's real talent right there.
My paintings look like someone took a shit on the board then just rubbed it around...
Yeah...

Have you ever had an art class or informal training of any kind? Because if not you have some real hidden talent. And if you have then you can only get better.

It is very nice. you should think about getting it professionally finished (matted and framed) though with it being finished it could sell in an auction for quite a bit. It is more Van Gogh then Michelangelo but still very good and very interesting.
Is it done with acrylic paints? I'm just guessing by the textures in the painting but I have been wrong before.
I should get something with some of my sketches set up. They arent all great though so idk.

Wow, that looks great!
Two comments though;
1. The tree on the left kinda stays the same width the entire time, it looks slightly awkward, not quite like a real tree. 'Cause trees normally are wider the closer to the ground they get.
2. The water kinda has an effect of being straight down, like a cliff, opposed to being flat like a normal lake.
Other than that I think it's really good, way better than I could do lol. Keep up the good work.

honest, honest opinion?
i don't like it. It doesn't add much to the concept i know of a painting. Yes by parts it can be good, yes you have talent yet you need to practice of your strokes.
For the water, if you start to paint with a base colour and you want to change the darkness or lightness of it, you don't a) put white or black on it. b) you use the same direction for the brush stroke, unless the effect you are trying to achieve is unified in the piece, which in this case it's not.
As someone said before, the tree is out of proportion with the scenery, common mstake it happens to all of us.
the one thing i like bout the painting it's the use of blod line for the shadow in the mountain, it is nice. by itself.
mind my asking what is the yellow almost semi circular and the squashed circle int the right hand of the canvas? if it's the sun… that whole side it's not represented as it should be. the sun it's the light of the world, and it's not just a fire ball in one side of the horizon, it spreads through the whole sky. so instinctively the sky should go from light to dark or dark to just one glimpse of light. And although that is what you were trying to achieve the piece doesn't have that flow that binds the sky together.
The piece doesn't have unity and harmony. and a piece of a landscape needs to have unity at least.
Don't take it as a harsh, ridiculous and cocky criticism. Take it as constructive criticism. People learn from their mistakes, and to become great, amazing at something they need to have something from which to say this and that is wrong let's try again and fix it. Rome wasn't built in a day, and Dali didn't paint "paisaje con mariposas" the first time he painted.
