I never where anything under my bathing suit unless I'm in a rush whm I'm at the beach. My cousins just decide to go downstairs to the beach and I'm not ready so I leave my boxers on and throw on my bathing suit.

I have never worn anything under my trunks. Trunks are made to dry fast, and that is pointless if you have boxers that don't dry fast at all underneath your fast drying swimming trunks.

I don't wear anything under a swim suit. I have seen kids before at the water park with underwear under a swim suit. Seems silly. Kind of like wearing socks with sandals. It just wasn't meant to be.

Who on earth wears anything underneath swimming trunks? Maybe they mean something different in the states. You couldnt wear boxers under swimming trunks because boxers are bigger, you would look like superman with his underpants on top.

Anyway how can not wearing something under a swimming costume be described as "going commando"? Thats like asking "do you go commando in your underwear".

I wear underwear under, any kind because I get rashes from the chlorine in between my legs on my thighs, and its mad annoying and hurts so I wear underwear under my bathing suit

personally I usually go commando... I see the same thing... I'm a lifeguard so I wear a bathing suit all day for work and not only myself but the people I work with don't wear anything under our suits... It gets annoying and its pointless... if you're really worried about being pants-ed try getting a jammer (competitive swim suit - about $30 from speedo) and wear that underneath... its at least a swimsuit so you don't have to get your boxers all wet... I usually wear a jammer underneath while teaching swim lessons but that's about it...

I've only seen 3 of my mates wear boxers underneath their swim shorts. If I'm going swimming I don't see the point really so I've never done it.

I saw this when I was at a few water parks in Florida and it kinda confused me tbh.

I mean you are going to a water park or swimming and you are going to get wet; therefore your boxers/briefs/w.e are going to get wet as well which means you have to bring an extra pair with you to change into.

Perhaps im missing the point, i understand what people are saying about getting debreekied - but is it maybe just a slight bit of overkill for something that might happen when just tying the shorts tight in the first place would solve the problem?
