my girlfreind told me about how on two occasions her moms boyfreind (now ex) was inapropriate towards her.. once where he looked another were he touched her chest ( no details out of respect for her)...... she was 14 at the time but she is a small girl, 5'5"........ and she gets so upset when something reminds her of it........ the reason i post this is because i made a comment a little more vulgar than i ment it to be (we like to mess around with eachother) and she said she did not like the comment because of what i have told you above...... i could kill this guy.... to see the pain in her eys and here the hurt in her voice .... i dont know..... is there anything i can do to help her get over it....... to make it hurt less.... it has been a year.... i mean she told me each lasted less than a minute......

Therapy. She needs to talk about this, go through the experience again, and deal with the emotions and thoughts that arise, she needs to try and get past this and therapy may be the way.

Yeah. She needs some professional help. Therapy, counceling, because this is clearly still bothering her (not saying it shouldnt). Try to be sensitive about these things too. Does her mom know? If her mom knows tell her mom that shes still bothered by it and it still sensitive about it and suggest counceling or having her and her mom talk about it.

I suggest you ask her to go see a councellor, and ifshe's afraid, offer to go with her. You probably shouldn't go in, but you could jsut wait outside for her, just give her your support.

Depending on the extent of this abuse, she might need to speak to the police also, if she was raped or touched inapporopriatley.

Get her to go to therapy and offer to go with her. Do it together. Maybe you can learn somethings and be able to help her better during times where she remembers what happened.
