I've still got some infraction points which mean that my blog has to be moderated before it's 'up'. Why is it then that 4 or 5 Mods have looked at my blog over the past month or so and it still hasn't been approved.

Surely if it wasn't going to get approved then it would be removed and I'd be sent Pm or something.

Explain someone please?

Because regular mods don't control the blogs senior staff does. And that's not really a part of the site that's looked at very often. If you want it approved faster then maybe you should just pm them and let them know that you made a blog and you would like them to look at it for you to see if it's alright.

Not much point really Ryan, only people with x amount of infrac points need them to be moderated. There isn't that many as far as I'm aware.

I only see one entry that wasn't approved. I apologize for that. However you haven't been under post moderator for some time now.

Um, I raised a question recently about what was acceptable in blogs and where the rules were defined, not sure that this has really been answered. You can report a blog but what rules are you reporting against? There's some silly p101 question there atm in the recent blogs, to me its clear that it doesnt belong there but I'm not sure that there's any rule against it.

Seriously, Ant made that very clear...as clear as he could.

Well I dont entirely agree with that. I am aware that some blog entries were deleted following one of my recent threads, though not aware whether the OP deleted them or if they were deleted by staff. Also not aware, if it was by staff, why earlier reports of the same blog entries had been ignored.

Now subsequently I asked for clarification on explicit content (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=63837) but this, as far as I can tell, has been left unresolved. All that was said was that the rule could be extended across the site, not that it would be or is being interpretted that way.

How is this not clear:

Its always been implied that rules apply to the blogs as well but it doesn't hurt to clarify.

Like I said, report anything that has been missed by staff and we'll take care of it.

Lets be apart of the solution not part of the problem. As a site administrator I can fix problems but I need to be made aware of them. I can't catch everything.
