Getting tested for ADD?

I'm going to get tested on ADD sometime soon. I really don't want to have it. I know no one wants to have it, but i'm hoping I don't. I'm just realizing that I have many, many of the symptoms so I want to find out for sure if I have it or not. Maybe I don't have it, but I'd like to know for sure. Anyway, i was just wondering what you do to get tested for it? I plan on talking to my doctor about it and see what she says, but theres gotta be more to it...

i did that the other day ago actually!

they sit you on this computer with headphones and stuff and a number comes up like

and

2 and then they start saying it...

it lasted like an hour..

and then you do this thing with shapes...

very boring...

What do you have to do with the numbers and shapes?

I'm not ashamed of it, well if i have it, i just really dont want to have it. I dont know..

ya....i just got tested for it on friday. they like sit you on a computer and a series of question pops up and u answer true or false. then you get for blocks and have to make different designs that the person shows u. then u get 4 mor blocks and it gets frustrating...lol. the they say a number and u repeat it back, they slowly add mor numbers and get up to like 7 digits. then they give you a sequene and you have to say it backwards. then they give u a sweries of letters and numbers and u say the letters first in alpabetical order then the numbers in least to gretest....then theres other test i havent taken yet. it takes like 4 hours......its so boring! and expensive.....lol
