Stones mobilize
Through crystal eyes,
You thought you'd sleep outside tonight,
But scary is the crescent moon,
As you step out too soon, too soon.

Don't listen to pilgrims in the sand,
I heard you scream the past
Is virtuous until you can't
Feel your hands, or feel hers too.

Now love is an addiction
Like crystallized methamphetamine
Surging through your system,
Feel high for awhile,
Then crash to the ground.

So as stones mobilize
Through crystal eyes,
Listen to the pilgrims in the sand
As they cry,
"Too soon, too soon,
Break your ties, break your ties!"

Love is an addiction,
You're still stuck within a fire
That rages from high noon
Till three p.m. the next day,
But the next day never comes,
You'll burn up soon enough.

So as stones mobilize
Through crystal eyes
And you try to sleep outside
But are wary of the fear impacted by the night,
Hide inside and hold yourself,
For one false step
And you'll lose it all.

(All will become none,
And love will evaporate,
Like dew drops exposed to sun).
