A timeless grace that whispered through the leaves
Did bear the breath of centuries past
The ancient brotherhood between stone and earth
And the life they agreed to support
Bathed in abundance were their first days
It was grace they beheld in their bosoms
In unison, the chorus of Being painted each soul
Not stone, nor earth, nor men they were
Rather an incessant melody, born of each essence
Sung, until but one fragment could sing no more
Abruptly, the world fell to harsh silence
As darkness plagued a discordant horizon
Memories faltered and sanctity abandoned
Lying prey to such forces of unknown power
In vain, only decadence strove to prevail
When bitter tears poured from cracks in the suffocating sky
A great flood drowned and drained away the sins of a fallen Eden.
