Ok, so What do I need to go for?

I really have this thing for English. I think I want to become a English Teacher. When I goto Colledge, how do I get a degree or whatever to be a English Teacher? And I would like to teach HS if that makes a difference. :)

In college, you need an Education Major. You will need a Phd in English. You will need to take all the English classes in college.

Right now, I would talk to a school counselor and tell them that you want that to be your career. It's very important that you get your High School Degree to even begin.

Yes, and aslo try asking your English Teacher how he/she got in to the job and if they could give you any advice! Good Luck!!

Just by way of comparison, in the UK you would take a BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree in English, then you would need to do an extra post-grad course to qualify for teaching.
