I need a hair cut, I want it shorter.

i'm very much liking this (http://hairstylesdesign.com/gallery/photos/medium_men_hairstyles_3479_5420.jpg) or something similar (yes i know it's a guy's cut, I DO NOT CARE). However I've been told that would just end badly. So yeah the person who told me this opinion's matters to me a lot... so i'm not gonna just brush it off.

I do not like my hair, and I sure as hell don't wanna grow it out or keep it the same

Food for thought. I'm very bad at visualising how anyone would look with a new haircut. I just shave my head, works good enough for me.

i think that style wud look good on you, but i think u shud do that style about an inch longer....you'd also need to get it cut by a stylist with experience as that i NOT and easy cut at all....you will probly need to use mousse everyday to have it look cool and "frizzy" like that....cuz it wont do that by itself and and thick styling product like gel will make it look clumpy, crusty, and bad.

i also don't recommend going blonde (idk if u meant u wanted that color or just the style) but yea...ur hair is too dark to go blonde, u wud have to have it professionally bleached over several treatments....which takes several weeks and is expensive....if u try to dye it with a cheap drug store brand it will go all yellow/coppery and get really brittle

i do think u wud look good with a lighter brown tho....but not too light, and make sure it has a "cool" tone to the color, warm tones will give u a reddish color which wud not look good on u (imo)

I had a friend who actually did almost exactly that-went from your current length to something likr that and it worked for her. If it's your siginificant other that doesn't like it, I understand your dilemma, but I still personally think it would work for you.

I both agree and disagree with cherry_boi's points on color: Don't do that platinum. Please. I know from experience that it is expensive and damaging to your hair. Plus, it just wouldn't work. What I disagree w/ cherry_boi on is going lighter, cool brown-you already have a light cool brown shade and I think dying any lighter would make it look brassy (as it's trying to pull red like cherry_boi said but can't because it doesnt have the warm tones.. Warm brown would make you pull red-been there, done that too.) I would recommend for the winter a dark chocolate brown or brown-black.

My hair has been blonde, current color, 2 shades of red, and 2 of violet... lol yeah wilder much? :P

My natural hair color is a redish light brown...lol
but I don't really want to go blonde again.

I don't think that style would suit your very good I think that maybe a short bob style or spikes.

Err..I'm not sure if you guys just missed it, or are trying to change it, but I'm trying to get away from super feminine. Like you'd only see that on a chick, when that's not what I want.

as i said on yahoo go with 3 inches at the back have it about 4 or 5 on the sides then have your bangs at about 8 inches
if they shape it right it should look awesome
it also then will give you choices on how you want to wear your hair
make it layered
