There's This Kid Update

Ok so today at lunch the advisor of a club I'm in asked me and a friend to go around the cafeteria to recruit new people. So we went up to the kid and I said "hello would you be interested in joining this club?" now I though a nice smooth reaction would come out. (before I go on he was staring at me when u was eating. I thought his eyes wouldn't look anywhere else. He would look away at some points and then his eyes would be right back on me. I think he might be gay. Idrk) his answer was "no". Just a no not in a very pleasing tone. Then I said "ok" and he went right back to his iPod. When he said that he sounded like he was gay but he didn't say much for more proof of this. It may sound like I'm saying he's gay but not too sure. Then me and my friend when to the next table.

So I don't think I will talk to him again any time soon. I think his reaction was like that because he may not have many friends. He has Friends I know that but i don't think to much. That could be why he sits by himself and the not so pleasing tone. And I'm thinking if he stares at me and all wouldn't he be like happy that I talked to him. He couldve asked what the club was about. I kne he wouldn't say that.

What do you guys think of this.

he might just be shy, and he might just like to admire people from afar, even though its much harder to do, imo, anyway, I'm sure deep down you made an impact, he just dosent want to show it. I was once like that, I didn't have any friends and this one popular guy was really nice to me but I shunned him for awhile, in time though we started talking all the time so, just give it time.

i was shy and scared to talk to anyone and i used to look at the popular kids and think of what it would be like to be like that and when someone talked to me i would be shocked that they would take the time to talk to me also i look people into the eyes because it shows ur paying attention so i don't see whts wrong with it he might not be gay so dont say he is if u dont really know

The kid probably just wants to be left in peace, if he has friends chances are (like me) he chooses not to sit with them because he prefers being alone. He might be staring at you because he thinks yo're odd BTW.

Odd. That's definatley not the word to describe it. Lol. If you saw him staring at me it's not the facial expression that says odd.
