From time to time I'll have new cuts that I completely block out, I only know they're there when I see them, usually it's restricted to my legs but tonight I found 3 scars on my arms all stitched by me and from the looks of it deeper than normal (which was deep anyway) I don't even freaking remember doing it. This has never happened to me before. What the hell happened to me?
EDIT: I meant that I'd never done it so deep then stitched it before (or on my arms at all) without remembering.

Mabye you were just over whelmed at the time and you didnt know what you were doing. In someways it may be good that you can block them out as you can carry on leading a 'normal' life when every you want.
Mind you I would have thought that you would have remembered if you had to stich your own arm ( or whatever) back together.
Mabie you should go and see someone if this carries on.

that's what's worried me most, it usually takes so much concentration that I remember practically every stitch (I dont have to very often maybe 1or 2 times a year) and if I can block that out then what else might I have suppressed, I don't know I'm probably just being paranoid.

I don't drink, I've seen what it does to people.

The mind blocks out things that it doesn't want to remember, that are painful, or traumatic. If this continues, I would see someone because that's really dangerous if you aren't consciously hurting yourself. Try getting in the habit of writing things down at night, so perhaps you may find writings of yourself and what you were feeling that caused you to blank out? Or write at the beginning of the evening, so you know what may cause you to blank out. You get the idea.
Be careful, love. Keep the cuts clean. (:

My cuts are a little too obvious for it to be anything else. It wasn't difficult for him to guess. Plus our relationship is a tad unconventional anyway.
I have a shrink too, so when I have an appointment he gets quick updates on it.
