so, i've been reading some posts about sexuality and being curious and what not. how does one know if it's just hormones, or if you're turely gay or bisexual?

To be gay or bi, you have to have both an physical and emotional attractions to guys (and girls for bisexual). Many times during puberty, people feel the physical aspect, but you're still missing the emotional portion.

But, many people can't tell just because their hormones are raging. You just wait until they calm down to be sure.

Well. What people tell me, is showing being curious towards someone is just showing you really care about them, and just want them to be happy. You can't really tell if you're gay/bi yet until you fully understand your feelings/hormones.

well ur not gonna just absolutely know right away.... its something u have to figure out about urself. which can take some time. but eventually u will know who u truely are in your heart.

personally, i think no teenager should label themself as bi, gay, straight, etc. our sexualities change too much, usually because of hormones. even as adults our sexuality will be complicated.
