I was surfing the fourms and I found someone on P101 that had a avata of a smiley and it's face said "Unreg". And then the subtitle to it's name was "unactivated member".

What is that??

How can you say that? (im guessing you saw a post with it as someones avatar) It would mean the same thing as what happened with Jared (This is a link to a thread about it) (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=63449)

Ok, but the person had 60 something posts. So he must of confirmed or something or they wouldn't had been able to post.

Ah so I'm right :) Its like being banned, but different some how. I'm not sure how. Maybe one of the mods will explain, what being "unregistered" means.

Matt was pretty much right.
When you join VT you are unactivated or unregistered until it is confirmed by e-mail.
However admins can also manually check someone as unactivated or unregistered and all this does is removes the perks of being a member yet still being able to use the forums. So no posting, yet can still view the forum.

There may be some other things...I think I got it right, should wait for Ant to make sure

If you change your email address you go back to being considered unactivated until you confirm your new email.
