I have been playing the piano since I was 5, and I want to play a second instrument along with Piano because I want to be a music teacher. I want to play a wind instrument, but I have braces. Any suggestions?

Drums. I'm also a piano player. I took up drums to keep up with the beat and time. It's going start off slowly at first, but you'll pick up soon.

clarinet or sax are the easiest to learn.

Go for clarinet, its not hard at all once you know the fingerings. And braces aren't a problem, unless you've just had the wires tightened or something then it'll hurt a bit, but you should be fine, I play with braces.

Saxaphone. It's really simple to play. The only problem is that Saxaphone is only really used for Jazz music. If you are not a fan of jazz music, the flute or clarinet is ok.

Not always. Pink Floyd, a British Progressive Rock band, commonly used saxes on their albums in the 70s. True, it is mainly used as a Jazz instrument, but it can adapt. Try listening to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" near the end of the first part (parts one through five) and there is a sax solo starting at 11:13.

Trumpet would be a good one to learn it's mainly just blowing with your lips so you don't have to worry about braces I think.

Dick Perry was Pink Floyd's studio sax player. He played on Dark Side of the Moon, but I don't know about the other albums.

It dosnt matter whether you have braces or not a learnt how to play the sax with my braces and then a sometimes play my friends clarenet. Once you get used to the fingering you can pick up many wind instruments quite quickly.
ALso they say that your second instrument is easyer to learn then your first so you should do fine.

Amy is right, if you can play one instrument, you can play a few others too.
I'm saying that because I'm a 14 years guitar player, and when i go to a place which have piano or other instrument, I can play it. Not so well, but I can xD

I play the guitar, drums and the piano and I think a good instrument to learn would either be the guitar or drums. The guitar isn't very hard to play/learn. Although, if you have a good sense of rhythm then the drums would be a good choice. If you choose the drums I recommend trying out the Djembe, that's my favorite drum. It a form of African drum, and it doesn't cost too much to buy one of decent quality.
