I think you may not have presented your point perfectly well. I would say the better way of posing this would be why do skinny girls want to be even skinnier. As posted above, Anorexia is on a complete different level.

Anyway, it's all about self-image, we get bombarded on a daily basis with all these great looking girls, the idea about what a girl should be like is shoved into our faces so much, we just have to try and achieve the impossible. However, it is something quite a lot of girls grow out of. We learn to love our curves if we have them, and learn to love ourselves.

It is never a choice for anyone... Skinny, normal, or overweight. Nobody wakes up one morning and wants to be anorexic, it is the fact that they just cant bring themselves to eat because they feel fat, are afraid to become fat, or because they are afraid of others judging them because they are eating.

The problem is, it's not as easy to do as to say. But his naivete on that point is undeserving of the mass jump-down-throat.

Anyway StateRights, as much as I know this post will go to your brick wall mentality I will say it anyway, anorexics don't "decide" to be anorexic. Anorexic people (not just females have it) have convinced themself they're fat. And they aren't all people who want to be/look like models. Someone may be bullied at school for being fat even if they are normal weight, and will force unneccesary weight off themselves in order to appease the bullies.

He hasn't directly attacked anyone. He has extreme conservative views, which some people don't like.. but all I've observed is that he hasn't sugar-coated them and presented them in a blunt/arrogant way. Many of the others I see are all "omfg you did NOT just criticise us?!!?!" "you lowlife motherfucking trolling arrogant fool!". So effectively, many of the people have replied have broken more rules than he has by flaming.
