then again there are people like me who really don't have a problem with showering in school. Everyone is different some worry, some don't stress about stuff like this.

Self-conciousness, privacy issues, not wanting to see your friends naked... the list goes on and on. It's all preference dude, the reasons vary, but the majority of them are just that they're all uncomfortable with nudity, be it theirs or someone else's. I personally don't have an issue with it, unless it comes to myself, haha. I'm just not a big fan of showing off, probably because I'm self-concious, and because I'd hate to be ridiculed for something so personal. :S Sounds lame, but it's the truth, and there are few things I can do in the way of overcoming it.

some guys aren't used to getting naked in from of other people. i believe its more of a self-esteem issue and fear of the unknown. once they get used to it then it will disappear.

See, in the society we live in today, body image isn't just an issue for girls. A LOT of guys are uncomfortable with others seeing their bare bodies, or their private parts.

Especially in purbety, a lot of guys are going to be worried that they are too hairy, don't have enough hair, that they're penis' are smaller than others, and such.

A lot of guys are also worried about being labelled gay for getting an erection, which is out of their control.

So to answer your question - People ask because they're worried. Just like all other questions on this site.

There's no problem with showering at my school, coz lots of us go to the nudist beach, which is quite near to where we live, so we're all used to being nude. It's fun to see the guys who never go to the beach and have white bums coz their swim suits stop them getting a suntan

I don't really have a problem, but I can see why some guys do.
If they are just generally a shy person then going into a shower with 30+ guys would be their idea of hell.

I made a thread about showering at school jst because I wanted to know how many people on VT used the school showers....all ours is in one small square place with room for maybe 3 normal sized guys...but there is only one shower head...so really it'd be easier for just one person to go in there...but no one i know uses them...I think some of the sports guys use them though

I think that should be illegal. You shouldn't be forced to do something you don't want to do.

To the question, guys don't want to see other guys. Guys do not want to see a room full of penises. Straight guys anyways. I know that I don't want to be naked in a room full of naked guys that I hate. I think I would puke.
