Hmm...Well this is an odd question, but are you fat? :P
If you arn't, this isn't a eating disorder. Don't worry, we'll move it somewhere else...I just don't know where!

Yes i am kind of fat, my gut and my man boobs. i want to lose the weight and/or turn it into muscle.

I think the first thing you should do is eat right, and maybe walk a little. That will get you started. I don't think there is any "quick" way to get abs and pecs. You have to take it slow. Don't be too hard on your body.

Again eat well. Try to eat less sugars, more things that say "low trans fat" on the package and less things with partically hydrogenated something (that can be found on the back of the package, ingredients).
Don't walk too much and get too hot. Be sure to carry just enough water when walking. Try walking to not-to-far away places such as mailboxes (if you live in a appartment complex) or library; maybe even school.

Soon you can lift weights and have hottness build up :twisted:

Like I said, don't stress your body. I know that some people want to get rid of their body fat quickly but you have to do it the best way possible...eating right (no matter what these diets say; besides, they sell their own products that cost SO much more than just looking around) and exercising. All of the commercials and diets always mention exercise. :agent:

Just run, and do 20 push ups a day. Then you will get stronger and be able to do 50 then 100. Like me. Try not eating to much breads and stuff. When you get hungry eat a apple.

heh me do 20 pushups. Hell i cant even do 5, yet i have muscle.

u need to do cardio to lose fat mixed with a healthy diet and weights to shape your body and maintain weight off i was fat too and i have a 6 pack now and theres no easy way or quick way to get abs its all with patience and time

and to get pecks just excercise those are muscles that develop easily when u excercise

YES I WAS ACTUALLY QUITE FAT I HAD MAN BOOBS OR W.E CLOTHS WOULD NEVER FIT i had to wear like size 40 pants haha well one day i just decided iam stopping this and it took me a few tries to finally get it down but like i said there is no easy way to get abs no fast way either its all upon how much work u put into it fastest way to a 6 pack is prob 3 months if your body fat is low but if u were like me it would take u prob 5-6 months maybe more but alone that line youll feel much better and much happier and much thiner.btw i started at at 15 so if u are younger theres no reason why u cant be full of girls and ripped by like 15-16-17 when it counts

I am 14 now. I weight 150. i am 5'11. i dont know what my body fat percent is. how do you calculate it? i have like smaller man boobs since i posted this and i ahve been eating less. i got skinnier. but still little chubby. i am starting to work out. just started yesterday. 15 pound dumbbells. just starting tho. so plz help me.

thanks. Does anyone know how to calculate body fat? Do Planks help shape your abs? Because i have been doing planks for a while. i stopped like a month ago cuz of school. But i coiuld feel my abs shaping under my fat. i started doing crunches. If i benchpress does that help pecs?

I'm a 17%. If you want abs and pecs, I'd suggest two things : push ups and flexions. Do 50 of each a day, you'll get some muscle in no time.

Of course, you need to be in shape for that. If you want to maximise the "oomph" of the push-ups, try putting you feet on a chair then your hands on the ground and then do push-ups. It maximises the weight your arms and pecs have to lift.

But really, 17% bf isn't that high. I have the same and I'm kinda muscled.

A good way to build pecs with no weight sets is just do as many push-ups as you can & wait like 15 minutes & try to beat it or match it, & just keep doing it, you'll have done 500+ before you know it. & if you find push-ups really tough, a good thing to do is flex you abs, it's weird but it makes them a bit easier. & a warning, if your not very well conditioned, you'll hurt like hell the next day, but it's a good hurt.

CORRECT, this does build up ur pecs.im in ROTC (navy in high school) and i do pushups all the time and ive got pecs, but heres an addon..to build ur abs do a push but but ur hands in a diamond shape right below u and have ur nose touch ur hands..these are very diificult but with some practice...youll being doin em like THAT!

the best thing u could do is get a personal trainer thats not too expensive and ya if u arent able to go to a gym then ya do pushups situps ect but that would only do so much

fuckin do 60 pushups a day 20 in morning 20 in afternoon 20 in evening do the same with dumbbells 90 a day do tricep pushups 150 a day thats wat i do

if you want to get muscle on your body buy a bench with a bar and some weights, dumbells are good too. you can message me and i can give you a good workout plan. remember once you rip your muscles (which you should do every workout) you should wait a week before you work out the same muscle again.

Yea i am trying to use my highschool's crappy workout room to my advantage, but i ahve never benched in my life. I think the highest bench i could prolly do is like 60-70 lbs. i have never tried tho. i am going to try the push up things. i have not visited and read the posts here. i am working out, but i am hardly running. My Dad is buying a treadmill. is this a good idea? Since winter is coming, my dad thought a treadmill would be the best idea, because running is the snow isnt that smart. Is this a good investment? By the end of december, i will become 15, and after my parents come back from hajj(muslim thing) i am going to get a membership at my local gym, so this might help me a whole lot.
