Hey there! I go to an advanced school where the assignments are much harder then your average high school. I tried reviewing my notes, and using flash cards. Flash cards sorta worked, but not much better. Any studying advice?!

Try having another family member quiz you on your studying. If you can't do that, flash cards are very helpful. What subject is this for?

You could start by researching around the internet, borrowing books and guides from the library and possibly extend the amount of time you spend revising.
Specifically, what subjects are you studying?

Try rewriting your notes over and over again. Say what you are writing as you write. I also go to a school that is waaaay harder than your average school and this works for me.

Mind maps are suppose to be useful for remembering things, could give them a try..

Use the basic rule of half an hour of revision, then a 10 minute rest. It gives your brain some rest which is definitely needed.
