Anyone seen it?

I have to say that for a film adaption, it did the book justice.
The main plots to the story were there; the humor, the facts were well presented.
Although it missed out some sub-plots that would have made the story easier to grasp, the film was a good adaption in my opinion.
A friemd of mine went with me. She hadn't read the book. But I gave the blurb of the book, so she could gain an interest. She said that she understood the film, even though at some moments she was a little confused!

It was a good adaption, but I am inclined to agree with some of the critics on some points. http://movies.about.com/od/thedavincicode/fr/davinci051906.htm (http://movies.about.com/od/thedavincicode/fr/davinci051906.htm) This critic does say some things that are true; regarding that the film was more of an action, the role of the only female was quite dominated by the other actors etc...
Overall it was a good movie and one I would recommend to those who haven't, couldn't be bothered, or wouldn't read the book, so that you can see what the fuss is about...

i have to laugh when i see people getting worked up about it, like i dont care what Dan Brown says at the start of the book about it all being true, to me its a very good piece of fiction, with some very interesting things that make you think a little, but its just a good story, and i think people who read into it anymore than it being a story are just silly! and i want to see the film cause it looks pretty dam groovy!

I agree with redcar. I'm a devout christain, and it didn't bother me one bit. it's called fiction, because it's npt real. get the point.

i loved the movie... i think it was great, and it made me see the world in a different way... im currently reading the book, because my mom's husband told me he read it, and some important things they changes/didnt put... but i still think the movie was awsome... they had good actors, and the topic its perfect... has someone read a book called "Angels and Demons" by the same Brown?? my mom's husband is now obssesed with his books, and hes reading it, and he says its waaay good... has someone here read it?

*bump*

I saw this movie in late June with my mom, since we'd both read the book. I really, really liked it. It was amazing, IMO. Several parts gave me chills, especially when Robert discovered where Mary Magdalene was buried.

I got the DVD. I was supposed to get it for Christmas but I was about to buy it and my mom just said "I was gonna give it to you for Christmas, but I'll just give it to you tonight, and you'll pay me back." I watched it twice already and I'm gonna watch it later tonight.

I'm Christian. And I love. This. Film.

If no one has get the PS2 game... its pretty freaky, long, and it has a bunch of things the movie and book doesn't :)

You're right about the chills part tho :P I really get this feeling in some parts and stuff :D

People are stupid that they want to ban the book/film.
Banning/censoring media only leads to lack of knowledge.
