I have got soooo paranoid ever since I have started school again after christmas. I am totally freaking out everytime I hear people laughing cause I think they are laughing at me, or if people look over at me and stare. it freaks me out so much and I don't know how to stop it. I cant make myself look someone in the eye for more than a few seconds and I actually feel like getting sick if someone I amn't friends with asks me a question. I don't know what to do. This used never happen to me before so why now???

I can't say I know how to stop it, but I'm pretty much the same so I know how you feel. If anyone stares at me, or even glances at me while theyre talking i'm convinced they're talking about me. Its kinda crazy. Maybe its because you're just not used to the school environment, and you're noticing what goes on abit more? I'm not sure, and I guess I haven't been much help but I tried XD

You should talk to someone about this, i know your prob thinking, state the obv, but they can help, and find out why your feeling like this?
Has anything emotional happened to you in your life over christmas? just before it started? something tragic maybe??

the best thing you can do is if you think or know they are laughing at you just laugh with them. it works trust me

I've gotten paranoid over time. I used to get the same thing though, if you hear people laughing, then you think it's about yourself. I got that terribly in my last year of school when anxiety problems reached a real peak. Over the past 6 months or so I know my paranoia has gotten worse. Now though, it's paranoia towards 'letting people in' to problems, I don't trust people that easily. Funnily enough though, there are a few people on this site that know a little about me problem wise, but friends I know in person, that's not so common.

If you'd ever like to talk, then you can always PM me. I know this isn't something that goes away overnight, and there isn't much to say that can help, but speaking to different people might make you feel a little better perhaps.

don't fret what others may think or say you need to take deep breaths and think of something happy when this happens because being in total fear all the time is not normal. i think it could just be a phase
