A murder inquiry has been started after the body of a woman was found on a footpath in Berkshire.
The woman was found next to the Kennet River, under the A33 near to the Green Park industrial estate, in Reading on Monday night.
Police believe the woman was aged in her late teens. A cordon is in place and the footpath remains closed.
Detectives said the area is popular with dog walkers and cyclists and appealed for information.
Det Supt Karen Trego, leading the investigation, said: "We have a team of detectives working on this case and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information about it."
