One summer I went on vacation the whole 3 months, I came back and all my friends told me my voice dropped like a ball. All I remember is it cracking every now and then. It'll start soon.

There isn't really a way to make your voice change faster. You just have to sit and wait it out. Judging by your post, you are most likely a late bloomer. It is frustrating, but after your voice finally does break nobody is going to even remember it hadn't. It only matters know because you are self conscious about it.

No- not necessarily. 13-15 year old guys develop at different rates (well, doh!). Look at Justin Beiber, he is 15 and his voice hasn't even started to break. I know its frustrating, but you may or may not be close to having your voice break. It depends on how far along you are in puberty.

hey there is no rushing puberty. i know you really want it to happen but just be patient.

Don't let those guys (or girls) get on your nerves. Everyone goes through puberty differently, and being only 14, you still have a long way to go.You're voice will break eventually, and there's no way to rush it.

I wish I could tell you when, but I don't think anyone can. You'll hear it crack soon, and then you'll be on your way. if you have pubes or pit hair, that should be a sign that you're hitting puberty, and that you'll soon start to hear your voice change.

My voice changed when I was halfway through the year last year. I was 14 then, 15 now. It was summer break and everyone noticed! However, my voice never cracked, one morning I just had a deeper voice. Don't worry about it, and ignore what people say to you. Your true friends in life accept you for who and what you are, not the pitch of your voice, or how far through puberty you might be!

Hi Jacob.

Like everything else in puberty the fact is it doesnt necessarily follow exactly the same pattern for all guys. The most common sign is that when you are speaking odd words or syllables will start coming out at a different pitch, higher or lower, than your voice is normally at. It may start going up and down unpredictably. Another sign is if your voice becomes generally more husky. Some guys dont really get those sorts of things at all, their voice just gradually slides down, and others might just wake up one morning and find its just suddendly dropped a lot.

The age varies a lot too. If you go by singing voice, most guys will lose the ability to sing at treble pitch somwhere between 12 & 14, but some go on as late as 16.

There's nothing you can do to force the pace, so its tough if you get teased about it, but you will just have to patient.

when my voice started to crack i didnt notice, i thought i lost my voice because of something but after a few days ( yea it was a long time...got me wondering) it got better and i noticed my voice will never be like a kid anymore. the symptom was that my voice squeaked when i try to talk high notes and break like normal "voice losing" but kinda different, and oh it will be the worst of the losing voice situation since i litterally during a period of a few minutes at which no sound came out...

Voice cracking + loss of voice.
