"In addition, do not post stories about sex or masturbation unless it strictly pertains to you getting help."
Can you please clarify whether the above rule is specific to puberty 101, where it is quoted, or should cover the entire site.

Its mentioned in Teen Sexuality as well. http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/announcement.php?f=35&a=75 Stories of a sexual typically don't show up in any other forums.
However in light of this Blog scenario making it a global site rule would be fairly simple editing of the FAQ.

Some stories about sex are permitted...it depends on the context.
For instance in a diary, where people told the circumstances of losing their virginity...thats not breaking rules unless it gets too graphic, etc.
If you start saying postings posts like "post the dirty details of your sexlife" that may go overboard and be deleted/locked.
That rule really depends on the context I believe.
Hence why it is also posted in P101 only. Mostly because thats the only place where things get graphic.

Thankyou both for those considered responses. I can see that there may be exceptions of the kind that John refers to, but it seems to me that it would be clearer and on the whole beneficial if the rule applied across the site.
