Intoxicated by poisonous memories,
Laughing the sickest laugh,
Tears of anguish pouring down your face,
The faces, the voices, the memories, grabbing at your soul,
Don’t escape just now!
The torture isn’t over yet,
They must rip at your very being,
Tear your sanity away,
(Or what was left of it)
Pluck your hair out from the roots, (Makes the voices go away!)
Lips locked,
Screams unheard,
Key lodged in throat,
Locked inside your own head,
“Little one, weak one, worthless one.”
“You’re a shame, the blame to our misery.”
