Pokemon Heartgold and soulsilver(And general pokemon)

As I'm sure some of you know, I'm a huge pokemon fan. I've loved pokemon for 12 years, love it. Pokemon heartgold and soulsilver are remakes of pokemon gold and silver on the gameboy colour, and these games are going to beat every other game released in 2010, no contest. They're being release in the united states, and confirmed today, 25th march for UK. Question is... WHO'S FUCKING EXCITED FUCK YEAH I CAN'T WAIT I SQEUALED WITH JOY WHEN I SAW THIS HELL YES... discuss

I used to be a Pokemon nerd... once upon a time. Back then, there was nothing more I wanted than for there to be a Gold and Silver remake. Though the graphics weren't that great, I think I can say with confidence that they were the best games of the whole series.

I'm not sure if I will get these games or not, I've been playing all my life but some years back I became less interested in the video games and got big in the card games.

I heard about this a while ago. Didn't really affect me much though, I haven't even got diamond/pearl yet, since I have no DS/moneys. Gold/silver were alright, they were certainly big, but I've always preffered ruby/sapphire to be honest. Don't know why, just have.

most definetly, when I was 6 I got the original gold and I've loved it ever since, pokemon all the freakin' way.

They started getting worse after the original silver and gold, and once they got onto DS...I couldn't stand them lol, they were just too annoying.

They didn't remake yellow so I highly doubt they're planning to remake crystal. Although I admit, it was a little bit better than gold/silver, if only because it was the same with a few extras.

well the main differences are

Obviously re done graphics, look miles better than the originals
New music(although you can change it back to the original music using an item)
*the bits from crystal added(the suicune thing, and the battle tower)
*all the new pokemon from 3rd and 4th gen in there, with new moves and abilities
*new characters, expanded storylines
*new areas(battle frontier)
*ability to re-challenge gym leaders
*wi-fi connectivity
thats all I can think of for now. Looks amazing.

Can't eait for it. I own them all except Pokemon Platinum. The Sinnoh 4th Generation series really failed :S

I'm just as excited as you are. That's why I pre-ordered SoulSilver off Amazon on December 12, the day the U.S. Release date was rumored.
And the people saying they want a Crystal remake, it's pointless. Both the games will have Crystal's storyline.

aww. i Remeber gold and silver i'm not into pokemon anymore.. for certain reasons. But i might get the games if they are Exactly like the origninals. i just have to remeber all the names. its been like 3 years sence i've watched pokemon or played any of the games.

I heard that they're going to cut out some important stuff though. And redo gym leaders. Like the Steel-Pokemon Leader Jasmine isn't in it I think..
