Theres this boy I used to be really good friends with but then he moved and he promised we'd still talk, we used to talk on the phone but he stopped calling me, I think he lost his cell, should I call his home number?? a part of me feels like he would be thrilled to talk to me.

Yeah, if he's your friend why don't you call him. His cell phone probably got cut off. That happens to a lot of my friends. Don't think he's not your friend anymore just because he won't pick up his cell phone. It might be some other reason.
