New Case!!!

I got my new case today! so as soon as i got home a swapped my computer across! it look so much better and the system is aournd 7-8~oC cooler

It was really cheap and came with the 2 side fans and the front one, and i got an extra 80mm one for the back, and the fan controller thing: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/91657

so it was pretty cheap i think!

plus i got an LCD screen for my birthday so its like a new computer now :D

Very nice case, Andy, to say the least :) Now it looks just like mine (with the only 3 exceptions being my case: has a blue outside, does not have 2 side panel fans, and has a bigger, blue-er fan controller display).

I ordered my case, fans, and fan controller from TigerDirect.com (clicky) (http://www.tigerdirect.com/)... In fact, I ordered everything from TigerDirect with the exception of my monitor, speakers, and processor - from which came in my first modern computer (bought about 3-4 years ago).

I really like my new case, its soo much quieter! and of course there is an AMD inside :D It came with a 350w PSU but i couldnt use it on my mobo so i had to use my old 300w one, but its only running 2 hard drives, 5 fans, 1 DVD drive, a 1.5GHz AMD so it does the job for me.
i cant find out how to change the fan controller to a blue background, it is pictured blue on the box and it says you can change it but it doesnt say how and there is no ovious way of doing it.

Try holding one button down while pushing others... that is usually how configure multiple options for a device with few buttons.

Hmmm... Though I must say, I don't really like those completely clear cases... kind of defeats the purpose of having lights - and it just looks a little too retro for a case. Meh, that's just in my opinion, of course :)

im not really a fan of the clear cases cos there is nowhere ro hide all the wires ect.

mine has a switch on the fan. it decides to either have more bright light or a faster intake. of course tigerdirect has the cheapest things which is one of the best website to buy components.

He used to run 7 fans in there to keep it from shutting down but the dust got to them really fast so we were swapping them once every 2 months

After the water cooler was installed only 2 fans were needed and its much quieter

Yeah wire management is a lot harder with a clear case. As for lights, i dont have any extra lights in it now, just the ones on the fans.

As for my moniter, well it sucks ass. I hate it b/c it makes small leters realy fuzey and hard to read witch is anoying as hell:mad:

yes you do,i say Bah Overclocking is for pusseys. The spinning top is were the real trick for ideal processor speed lies:D. But they cost you a pretty pennie. But what can i say i just have the best stuff:) .

Bah i like the stickers, i have had my comp for almost a year and haven't even tried to get them off. But ya the specs are pretty good, Well exsept for my usual rant about the stuipid motherboard not having a PCI-E or AGP slot. The only thing that has changed as far as those stickers go is that now i have a gig of ram.The processer is good also running at about 3.06 Ghz.

im pretty happy with my new case tho, stays at 21 cecuis all the time when gaming and processor doesnt go above 40 cecuis much at all, so much better!

o ya also the ipod isn't mine, it is my sis, i let here run her i tunes on my comp b/c she dosn't have one. i also think i am going to download that program menchind earlyer to find out my comps's temp.

well im fairly spent out right now but going to get a £450 23" LCD HD-Ready tv.. i got the money but my dad doesnt like me spending it lol, so i will pay it back when ive built a couple of computers

Nice! that should be pretty quick! the next think im gonna get is a new graphics card, i got a: nVidea GeForce2 GTS, about 5 years old and 64MB, but it does run very well, but a 128MB card will do alot better
