Lady Gaga Counter Sues Producer/Ex-Boyfriend.

In response to a $30.5 million lawsuit from former boyfriend and producer Rob Fusari, Lady Gaga has filed a suit of her own, claiming that Fusari has no rights to her finances and that their former contract was dishonest.

New York City native Lady Gaga, born Joanne Germanotta, filed her suit in Manhattan disputing Fusari’s claims that he wrote two of the tracks from her multi-platinum debut album and helped develop her sound entitling him to a portion of the profits.

Germanotta claims that the contract she signed with Fusari was vague and misleading but Fusari contends that Germanotta should relinquish $30.5 million for his services.

Germanotta’s attorney Robert Meloni defended her finances in a recent lawsuit containing a statement directed at Fusari’s claim for monetary rights.

“The above described arrangement was structured in such a way as to mask its true purpose-to provide to the Defendants unlawful compensation for their services as unlicensed employment agents,” read the suit.

Fusari is not the first producer in music to make a seek millions from a major recording artist after they become successful. Some are left to wonder why Fusari did not make this realization earlier in the game considering the contract was drafted in 2006 and her debut album that sold millions of copies was released in 2008.

Well, new Dillinger Escape Plan came out and Deftones are going to release a new album sometime in May. So I'm kind of excited. NIN is suppose to be working on something new this year apparently.
