Hmm, i would say go into your C: Drive, go to WINDOWS > and look at ieuninst.exe, (im pretty sure that means Internet Explorer Uninstall, but just to be safe ill wait for Kiros to confirm) and click on that. Otherwise u can always just go to Start>Programs>Internet Explorer, right click and select delete. Good luck
*edit* Oh yes, and if your looking for a new browser, get Avant :) Clicky my siggy

First of all, just because you don't want a program anymore doesn't mean you need to uninstall it. Unless it is causing runtime problems for certain programs, you should just let it be. However, if you wish to stop using it, keep reading. I am assuming you are using a version of Windows XP. If you are not using a version of Windows XP, please respond with what operating system you are using.
Before you are so set on removing it, try using Avant Browser (clicky) (http://www.avantbrowser.com/); it has much more features than FireFox and is actually safer and faster. :)
Microsoft has made it possible for administrators and users to remove user access to Internet Explorer while leaving the Internet Explorer code intact and fully functional to ensure the functionality of programs and operating system functions that rely on it.
If you want to go this route (which I recommend if wish to stop using it), then just use the "IEAccess=off" switch in the Unattend.txt file.
If you really need Internet Explorer uninstalled, then try going to the Add/Remove Windows Components section of the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel.

Yes, it is very much so a part of Windows, and uninstalling it completely can lead to trouble: this is why I suggested just denying access to it or just leaving it be. However, like I also said, look in Add/Remove Components in the Add/Remove Programs tool.

Well, Marine, if you need to uninstall it, then do so. I'm not stopping you. If you think that will in some way help your already infected computer, then be my guest, however, most of the time, that only leads to further trouble :)
Although, to assist you more, I'll talk to you through private messages about this issue.
Speaking of private messages, someone needs to check their inbox. This will explain why their avatar is gone :)

I have one question. Why do you Need to remove IE. As kiros said it is amost assured to not help with ur spyware, adware, viruses, popups, or any other sort of thing like that? If you don't like IE that much you could get a mac. JK (don't get a mac):D

I didn't mean to offend u kiros. I never said my computer was infected! I have like two anti-spyware programs and like four antivirus programs. My computer is fine. Its just the damn history on my internet browser i cant get to clear. I click clear history, and it sais the history is gone, then i when i go to check, the history is still there. now if someone can please point it out to me when i said my computer was infected please do so. otherwise quit shoving words down my throat. i know ur an administrator, but i just dont see how uninstalling IE is bad. hell i havnt even figured out how to do it yet. so if someone is willing to help that would be great.

You never did say your computer was infected, but evidently, if you cannot get rid of this entry, it has to be. There's no other explanation - something is doing it, something keeps making it come back, right?
And don't worry, I didn't take offense, I rarely do get actually offended, however, I do like to make a point. :) Now then, have you checked your inbox? I'm trying to help, but it takes two people to have a conversation :P
Oh, and by the way, the image in your signature is cool, however, it is a bit too large. Avatars and signatures should not horizontally stretch any table on any theme. The Forever Blue (default) theme only has about 500 pixels horizontally for each post (the rest is for the side panel and margins). Please resize or crop that image so it will not morph the horizontal dimension of each post. Thanks :D

First of all they are Forms not bullitins. And if you want to just remove the history (whitch i assume is b/c u look at porn) their is probly a file somware that u can delete. Also the reson we are advise u against it is b/c it could potentaly lead to other problems. Kiros and on a smaller scale I are trying to help you. So please dont insult VT for your inablity to work on computers.

well i have found out how to manually remove the history files:
go to: C:\Documents and Settings\*User Name*\Local Settings
you will need to go to Tools > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files And Folders. bofre yo go there.
Then you should see: History and Tempory Internet Files, so go into them and remove all the files, then it should all be clear
