Really don't know where this goes...but anyway:
I've seen some vids in tv recently that include girls kissing each other so I was wondering...why does girls kissing girls in vids seems to be "accepted" and guys kissing might make everyone freak out and start insulting them? Also any special reason why we only see girls kissing in tv and not guys?
Thanks to all in advance!

well. adam lambert did kiss his guitarist on live tv. lol. i thought it was awesome but your right. there is a definite double standard. girls seem to be able to get away with pushing the limits that way but guys seem to get in a lot more trouble or not very much coverage when they do it.

Hmm. I have noticed that too.
Also, in movies, there tends to be more female nudity than male nudity, which pisses me off. No one wants to see your boobs! Well, not me, obviously. I always think there's going to be full frontal of a guy in a movie when he's naked, but my hopes are always killed, and then you see the girl's boobs bouncing up and down on the guy.
I agree with you though. The whole Adam Lambert controversy was definitely a double-standard, even though he did take it a little further than I would have preferred. I guess because men find women kissing to be "normal" and "natural", but then seeing men kissing is like some sort of taboo.

yeah just with tila tequila no one seemed to care that she was kissing other girls. the next day everyone would just be like "oh i loved that part when tila kicked her out." or "i liked the part where those two girls got into a fist fight." "Did you see those two guys kiss because they were dared. That was nasty..." her first season two guys were dared to kiss and they next day a few people thought it was nasty and they didnt care about the girls making out with each other. I dont get it either.

Even though you see this, it is still widely ridiculed because being gay or lesbian or even bisexual is some big evil. Really I couldn't care less. It's not as "accepted" as people believe.

Well I for one think this is retarded. I think its accepted more than guys kissing because some straight men think 2 girls kissing is hot.

Zack and Miri make a Porno had a full frontal of a guys dick although not in erect form and it did have 10x more boobs.

To everyone wondering. It's mostly catering to guys. It's "hot" for girls to make out with each other but gay to even see guys make out with each other. That's just the way culture is today although, some girls and gay guys are into "yaoi", (google it if you're interested).

Male dominated society, two girls kissing is widely considered to be sexually exciting. Two guys kissing is just gross and perverted- so says society.

There was a movie of the life of Johnny Cash called Walk The Line and John C. Reilly did a parody of it. Frontal Male nudity in it. I don't remember if there was female. but as they were making fun of taking drugs there probably was.

because some guys are PIGS and others (such as myself) are mature enough to not react rediculously.

I think its a dobble-standard too. I think that it is because "MEN" are ment to be "hard (I dont mean in the lower regions lol), strong, protective, etc..." and for some unknown reason (to me anyway) this is all broken. I dont understand why its a dobble-standard neither lol.
Sorry if you dont understand its just what i am trying to explain is sooo hard to write down coz of the complexity lol

guys are socially known for their "machoness" and girls are merely the object of guys lust. THEREFORE, when chics kiss guys dig it cuz its just something that has become known as "hot". but for guys, homosexuality is more disgraced because throughout time men have always been "tough" and what not. its ridiculous, actually, but its just how the world has evolved.

I agree with you, except a boob-shot isn't really on the same level as a frontal penis-shot.

the majority either are confused/scared/offended or just don't like gay people.
