My sister makes me want to tear out my hair!

I'm seventeen years old, my sister is twenty-one.
The thing that irritates me is that she expects me to be the strong one. The role model to our little sister. It's unfair.
I always had to stand up for her because she would hide behind me when she was involved in a conflict. She never once did the same thing.
I always thought that the older sibling stuck up for the younger ones.
The thing is, we have been fighting about everything; have been since we were younger.
We are both getting older, so I want to try and make things better between us.
Any ideas?

Talk to her!
You have to tell her in like a really nice way what you said on here.
Even if she takes it really badly mabie if you tell her how you really feel and the effects on the family then she may realise after :) xx

im 15, and im the youngest, I stand up for my brother (17) and my sister (19) all the time. Maybe you should try talking to her and asking her to help you out with you younger siblings, and as for standing up for you, well she should be doing that, but seeing as she isnt, Talk to her, just tell her how you feel, try saying it in the nicest possible way, Don't yell or scream, just talk calmly ( : Hope that helps xx
