I have an awesome idea. How about a cafe? Like a virtual world? You create a character, choose a server, (maybe around 6 servers. And a limit of 1 characters (avatars) per sever.)

1: Choose a server
2: Make a character in that server
3: Choose a cafe
4: HAVE FUN :)

Simple as that. Read what it should be about first:

( IM NOT TALKING ABOUT MAKING A WHOLE SIMS GAME OR SOMETHING LIKE SECONDLIFE. HAHA) You can talk with one person, or all with a chat box on the bottom left of the screen. You could go shopping for new clothes. You can create an apartment (not a house) All details list underneath

1: The apartment should have 1 bathroom, bedroom, kitchen (any suggestions?)
2: Only in this world should be the apartment and the cafe. That's it. No mall, pets, no mall, nothing like that. But you can invite people to go to your apartment with a limit of six.
3: You can earn money to buy clothes by being active on Virtualteen everyday, every thread you make you earn 80 coins, every post you make you will get 60 points. (If people are just posting random stuff for points they should be banned from the VirtualTeenCAFE but not the website.)
4: Clothes should cost around 20 points.
5: Bad, vulgar language is strictly prohibited. If abused you will be banned from the cafe but not the site.
6: You can decorate your apartment anyway you want with the themes provided.
7: You can unlock themes if you are active everyday in VirtualTeen by posting threads etc. (If that is being abused you will be banned form the cafe but not the site.)
8: You must show respect at all times
9: If you are in the cafe and not being active at that time, you will be logged out of the cafe but you can easily sign back in and start off where you were.
10: Once you log out, you will start from where you last off.
11: You will be able to log in with the account you have with the site.
12: Any other suggestions?

It was just an idea guys. There doesnt have to be six servers. Just 1. It was something i just thought of.

And VT is a forum mainly for help and advice, not for games.

Many people say this. But this is a help and advice forum. Not a game, social site (Well maybe), or anything else.

I just said it was an idea. do you think its really going to happen. It would be fun though. It would make the site more fun and interactive. I was just being creative. It would also give a chance to get to know more people on the site rather than seeing the same people a lot.

You posted it in the Suggestions forum, people are going to tell you what they think. Thats all they are doing, and plus they are thinking and reposding in a smart way. Almost all of the people who have said something, state good reasons to why this wouldnt happen.
I dont think its something VT really needs. Not for the type of forum it is.

It just wouldn't fit. The idea is THERE, but I don't think it will get on it's own two feet.

Yeah its a social site not a game i know but it gives people a chance to be recognized more. I know theres a lot of people who joined this site but doesnt do anything. And thats why I said you must make threads and reply to them to earn your ponts. By that your helping people out on the site who need it and questions are being answered. And if you want people to tell you something like in the Music section and they dont want to, they have a reason to. I have a few threads that have lots of views but very little responses. And im seeing a lot of threads with lots of views but with no or little replies. And those certain threads are always answered by the same people. I would say this isnt much of a game because theres only two places to be. A cafe shop and an apartment. If more people are known on the site, guess how much more people would join and how many old members would come back by just this little fun interactive thing. Basically im saying its a little chat room but with something you can customize. And this thing could be big publicity which would draw more people. they are playing a tiny game and also getting and giving help. Im sorry if i got spazed and wanted it locked or deleted. Everyone was just being negative about it.

Anyway, AppleFanBoy, you put a lot of thought into this and I think the idea as merit. But its certainly beyond my capability to set something like this up.

I think that would make us look more like a social network site. And we are to an extent, but we don't want to take it too far. I like the idea, but it will never work. Also, if you want to chat with friends on here quickly, go ahead and ask for their IM handle. That's just as good ;)

In the future, click the report button on the original post so we can see that you started the thread, and in the space where you can give a reason why, say you want the thread locked. We can't read every single post on the site, and we certainly don't see them all as soon as they happen, so by sending a report a moderator will actually see it a little sooner.
