She's your girlfriend and you can't sit and talk to her? You should be able to talk to her and ask her questions if you are that into her.

I know the feeling.
Just be natural with her. Talk about something funny that happened at school, or make some plans for the weekend. And if you really have nothing to talk about, then don't talk to her. Despite what people say now days, you don't need to be talking to your girlfriend all the time.

Very true. If you don't have something to talk about, not talking is perfectly fine. it's not an 'awkward silence' it's being able to appreciate silence. What ever you do, don't ask her anything that might offend her, even if your just joking or scrounging. My boyfriend asked me a very inappropriate question about gays (knowing I have many friends who are) and I got very offended... Silence is always better than a hurtful question.

exactly. If you both have nothing to say, then don't say anything. Teens now-a-days call it an 'awkward silence' I call it "shutting-the-fuck-up-once-in-a-while." Even if you have a great relationship with someone, there are boring moments. Not every minute needs to be filled with conversation. Just hanging out watching t.v. can be constructive to your relationship.
