This is sooo sad :/
It really hit me when the kid started crying at the end.
A former school bus driver in New York state plead guilty to 37 counts of reckless endangerment and has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for being drunk behind the wheel during a chaotic ride captured on the vehicle's surveillance video. (Jan. 5)

At least nobody got hurt. The bus didn't roll over or crash. Crazy bus driver drunk, trying to drive home a bunch of kids. Bad move.

That's pretty crazy, though it's not that sad... nobody got hurt or anything.

I don't see how it's sad at all. As a kid, I loved it when things went wrong. Sure, it's dangerous, but that's what makes life worth living.

Ha, that brings back memories. About 2 years ago our bus driver sub got lost, the gas ran out, it was like 40 degrees, everyone was panicking and i was laughing my ass off at everyone. It took us a while to get back to school that day, i just walked home when i got their.
People on the bus for me were crazier then the driver. I remember people throwing food and shit out of the windows at cars and the bus driver would giggle a bit.

My question is, Why only 90 days?

The 90 days was for the drunk part, it looks like. The article didn't seem to actually mention whether a sentence had been delivered for the reckless endangerment bit. Hm.

it's sad that something like this could happen. my dad used to be a bus driver, and it's very worrysome, since the driver probably skipped the pre-trip(checking over the bus before it leaves the lot) and he could have missed something important such as a flat tire or burnt out light and caused an accident that could have injured someone. the kid crying is just so sad

I'm with you on that!
I'd have loved if my bus driver on one of the school days was drunk and did something crazy like that. Just as long as nobody got killed. I'm a sucker for drama. Reminds me of when someone threw an open yoghurt out the school-bus window and it landed on some woman's car windshield and she stormed on the bus and went ballistic at everyone. Those were the days.

quit bitchin'
i wouldnt wish jail time on some of my worst enemies
I hate when ppl feel they have the right to say that someone deserves more prison time... especially for something like drunk driving
was it extremely dangerous? yes... but he's probably not a bad and/or violent person just REALLY stupid
