Favorite Kind of Fish

So, what is your favorite kind of fish? Y'know, tilapia, salmon, swordfish, trout, etc.

Pour moi, it would have to be Atlantic Salmon. Just amazingness and with the right kind of sauce on top(I believe it is like butter cream or something), it is just amazing.

So, tell me, waht is your favorite?

Oh, and anyone else hate fish breath?

Grilled salmon is really good. I also love shrimp. And yes, I don't like fish breath very much. I don't think many people do lol.

Me too. With all the English tourists that visit the Costa Brava and Costa Daurada there are loads of English bars, and so loads of English fish and chips.

Tilapa is an amazing kind of fish. Grilled or baked, it is always amazing. Fried, well, I'm not fond of it fried. In fact, the only fish I eat fried is catfish, and I only eat it fried. Otherfish like tilapia, salmon, or trout, I'll eat it, backed, grilled, or broiled.

So, I guess another question for my thread is how do you liked it cooked?(i.e., the ones I listed above, as well with fried)

Its farmed thats why I do not like it. It needs to be free ranged. I loved oysters, cooked on the girl, and I enjoy my salmon in a lemon pepper sauce.

Best method of cooking depends on the fish really.

Salmon I like poached, cod fried in batter for fish & chips, sole or plaice is lovely pan fried in butter or cooked with a white wine sauce. Sardines, gutted, but grilled whole, preferably on a barbeque

i absolutely LOVE shrimp, and coho salmon. swordfish, tuna, and tilapia are pretty good, but can taste bland sometimes. and NOTHING beats a fresh caught trout that's sautéed i butter.

Salmon and cod are nice. I eat tonnes of tuna, it's fairly cheap.

Salmon is my favourite, I had red snapper in St. Kitts and it was AWESOME, uhmm I like lobster and crab too. And battered and fried cod is always good

Whiting is probably my favourite. I love it dipped in flour and stuff then fried! yum yum!! I also love garlic and lemon muscles, ohhh i cant get enough of 'em!! I'm kinda lucky when it comes to fish because my town has the biggest fishing fleet in Ireland and right across the road from me there is a kind of fish store which picks up fish from the harbour every day at 4 o'clock. So I can can be eating a fish within an hour of it's death hehe. How fresh is that? lol

I just like most fish in general. Battered hake, I've been having recently, and it's nice :) you get that sweet flavour and the texture of the fish. Mmmmm. Salmon is a close second. *Sushi/sashimi ftw still :)*

My favourite would have to be probably salmon (I love the fat content in it, and when cooked right it is amazing) and I love tilapia; the buttery texture is amazing!
