View Full Version : Don't know how to get out there

Well first of all I came out as bisexual to my 2 best friends about a year ago. I've known I am bisexual for 4 years now.
I haven't properly come out, but if someone asks me if I'm bisexual I let them know. At the moment about 5 or 6 people know.
I've never done anything with another girl, but I guess I just...know in my heart of heart that I am bisexual. However, I don't know how to change that. I want to know what it's like to kiss a girl, but I don't particularly want to go about yelling 'Hey! Look at me! I'm bisexual!' There must be lesbians and bisexuals around me at school, but I just don't know where to look.
Any tips or advice? Thanks :)

Just relax and be sure of who you are. You seem 100% sure ur bi so just try LGBT clubs at school and stuff

Well you can ask any of your friends if they know anybody else lesbian or bi-sexual. Don't know if they are any gay lesbian centres in your neighbourhood. There is no rush to know more about your sexuality. But you can't change being bisexual. You have to be more open and accepting of your sexuality.

I agree. If your school doesn't Jane an LGBT club or a GSA you and a few other people could make one. To me it seems like you're at the beginning of coming out and that's a HUGE step and showing confidence and bravery (I say those all the time). A girl kissing a girl is like a guy kissing a girl. A guy kissing a guy is like a guy kissing a girl. I'm not saying it's all the same but liking the same sex you're going to want to know what it's like to kiss another girl or a guy wanting to kiss another guy.

For starters. I'm bi too and pretty much in the same situation as you haha.. Only I have A gf and have always wondered what it'd be like to kiss another guy.. I turn 18 in a month have been accepting I'm bi since I turned 16.
What I do personally is I make my sexuality kind of known.. I flirt with all my guy friends and point out the HAWT guys and check them out in the halls. Yet only like 10 people know 100% that I'm bi..
What I reccomend for you is to just be patient.. Like I said above I'm almost 18 and the first time I made out with a girl was only a few months ago. Be patient and you'll have your chances soon enough

Ah, I might have made that a little ambiguous in my post but I wanted to change the fact I'd never been with a girl (not the fact I'm bisexual) Just to clarify! :)
Thank you everyone, I'll look into it, cheers :D
