I had to write this. I don't know why. It just flowed out of me. It has been stuck in my head for a long time. I finally mustered up the guts to post it here. Well here it is.
We all live life. We all love life no matter what our conscience tells us. None of us, for we are all brothers and sisters, should hate life for if one of our lives end we will all surely grieve.
When you are depressed, when you need to let something flow out of you just talk to your parents, talk to your best friend, your siblings. They're ears are your microphone, they're love is your cushion. You do not need to go with depression alone. You just need to simply be willing to co-operate with your brothers and sisters of life.
And if it comes to it and you sit there with a razor or a knife in your hand wanting to self harm. Think. Do I need to do this? Do I really need to do this? We are all connected and if you inflict pain on yourself you are inflicting pain on all of us. You need to express your feelings but not with a knife or razor, but with a pencil or paintbrush. Not with black clothes or sad faces, but with loving words and a smile that we light up the night sky.
Should it go past just simple self harming and one of us starts contemplating suicide. Remember this. We will not let you destroy your life without a fight. We will be there for you. Holding your hand, guiding you through the dark, even if we hold the tiniest light in our hand. We will find a way. Hear our voices. For we mean you no harm. We mean you no death. We mean you a hard blow of love. If you have to break down and cry. Sob. Yell. And scream. Yet. We will all wait. We all have patience. We just all need to strive to survive. It is our purpose. It is your purpose.
We cannot stop you. Only lend you the help we can. I know- We know, that you will take it. But like I said, we will wait patiently for you. We need you as much as you need us. It is like a giant machine. Once one of the gears stops working, the whole machine breaks down. We need you.
