i've heard lots of things about jacking. i've heard it's common, but yet all my friends think it's totally gross and they harass kids that admit they jack off. are they insecure, or hiding something, or what? what should I think regarding this topic, and what do you think my friends think about jacking off?

It sounds like to me, that they are hiding that they are doing it. They don't want people to know that they do it, or they are too insecure about admitting to it so they pick on guys that have the guts to say they do.

That is my educated guess, b ut I really can't tell you why.

Just about every guy masturbates once they reach puberty, you have no need to feel any guilt about doing it, its 100% normal. If your friends dont admit to it, either they are too young to have started or they are probably just not being honest about it.

You don't need to get them to admit it, it's not important. Besides, nearly all guys do it, so they're most likely lying about it. I'll be honest, this is the opposite to people I know, guys at my school have always admitted to masturbating. It sounds stupid but in younger years of high school, guys thought you were cool if you did it, and a nerd if you didn't.

Don't bother, It's a private thing. If they don't want to admit to doing it don't try and get them to.

Almost everyone masturbates. It's normal. If they say they don't they're probably lying. If they say they do, then they have guts.

First of all, you should think what you want. But, because they are probably old enough to be in puberty, they just don't want to admit it. That might be because they feel insecure about it. Or it could be because in that "group," even though they (most likely) all do it, they dont admit it to each other, and so they formed a prejudice against people that do. I do not want to go all psychological, but they probably (individually) feel like hypocrites every time they say that to someone. Hope I helped.

especially in areas regarding you and your own body i always take the perspective of doing what makes you feel comfortable. not what others would approve of. its your life and not theirs. let them live their life their way and you live your life your way. having said that if you dont want to answer truthfully when they ask you if you jack off. Yea im the opposite. I dont want my own age friends to admit it. it grosses me out. I usually hang around people much younger than me cos of my weirdness... honestly me and my small group of peer-age friends are probably the most unattractive group of people in the school. Really good mates but... there is a younger for a girl with a mole on the side of her nose... Man do i pity her...

I've never done this, but it seems like a normal thing to do, whether it be curiosity as a kid, sexual orientation, etc. It seems like nothin to really worry about :p Unless you or a friend's being coerced into doing it. Or it could mess up your friendship. Then it's not cool.
