new mouse

hey all, my old mouse died, so i have found a new one, it's the Logitech V220, and i just wanted to get your opinions on whether it would work on my laptop. It's an acer aspire one(yes, a crappy netbook), but the thing is that i'm running Kubuntu 9.10 Karmic, and i've heard that some mice might not work with kubuntu.

All mice will work with Kubuntu. You may not get the full functionality of it, but it will work. (Most likely just the right/left buttons plus the movement will work)
Check Logitech's website to see if they have drivers released for Linux, or check the Kubuntu's community site to see if they have community drivers to use.

Any Usb 2.0 mouse and keyboard will work on a laptop. If it doesn't just google or go to the companies website for updated drivers.
