Probably. Why can't you talk to her? What happened? You are not supposed to be with her?

Sounds more like wild teenage infatuation than love.

That's not love it's called Heartburn. Or Acid Reflux if you want the medical term lol XD
Look buddy, not that I want to put a damper on your sunny day, but it sounds more like teenage infatuation (as motormouth so eloquently said) than love. Love is an extremely complex, and mature emotion that I'm sorry, you just can't understand at the age of 14. You're in middle school, this is most likely one of your first relationships and you're excited about it. Nothing wrong with that. But don't label it love.

I apologize. I noticed you were 14 so I assumed you were in 8th grade. If you don't like what I said that's fine, you're obviously entitled to your own opinion, but saying, 'fk u' is crude unnecessary, and rude.

Umm... Can you say asshole?
What happened to this website being for teens? All these people talk about is how much they hate teenagers. This has turned into some kind of old people convention. At 14 you are perfectly capable of falling in love. As long as you've gotten past the immaturity of joking about flatulance then you are old enough. You can't judge someone by there age people mature at different levels. Anyway to the original poster of this thread. The five steps to telling if you are in love. You have to be completely honest.
1. Can't stop thinking/talking about them. See them everywhere but it's not really them.
2. Butterflies in your stomach, stuttering, heart beating really fast.
3. If you've already kissed, Did you close your eyes? Did you feel imensely happy? Like you were floating?
4. Material Posessions have no worth to you. Video Games, Money, Homework, whatever it is. You'd just throw it at his/her feet if he/she wanted.
5. Insane Jealousy. You hate to hear him/her talk about other people. You can't stand to see people even too close to him/her.
If you fully and completely agree with every part of at least 4 of these then congratz. You are in love!! <3:wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

I'm sorry if you feel I was being an asshole, but that wasn't my intention. Perhaps my joke was in bad taste and I apologize if it offended anyone but I don't know why you went off an a tangent like that. I've got some news for you: I'm a teenager too. Nowhere in my post did I say or imply that I hated teens. That would be stupidly hypocritical of me. The OP asked a question about our opinion on whether this relationship was love or not. I gave him my honest opinion. If that makes me an ass hole then so be it. But name calling based on whether you agree with me or not is immature and childish. If anyone is an asshole it would be you for passing judgement on me.
All that I'm saying is that you're only 14 YEARS OLD. I'm not saying your relationship isn't legitimate, or that you don't care about one another deeply, I'm just saying that 'romantic love' is a complex emotion that I don't feel any of us (myself included) can fully comprehend until we've had a little more life experience under our belts. My message is simply this: it's great you're in a caring and loving relationship, but don't label it 'love' just yet. In fact don't even worry about labeling it anything. Just enjoy the fun you two are having right now!

i do agree with some of the things you are saying, but i also agree with lanceworren. to me love is something that you feel and it doesn't always have to be mature. love comes in many different forms. i myself believe i am in love. i would do anything for my boyfriend. i have been in other relationships before but i know there's something different about this one. but then again, i can't be completely sure. i might just be crazy. lol

Exactly my point. Love is an emotion. There is no legal age for love. You do not need an ID. People mature at different levels and you do not know the OP personally so you don't know if he's mature enough even if maturity were an issue. I'm sorry for my rude comment but you did sound hypocritical and just plain out mean. I gave a chart on how to tell if you're in love. You just said he was too young to love and expected him to accept that?
My point is that even though you claim to be a teenager you sound like every stubborn, hypocritical, adult that we come here to be away from.

I'm 16. I've already been through exactly what he's going through. Except I drudged through it believing I was in love for 9 months and it was teh most educational months of my life. I learned that love is not all you need, especially fake love.
Another thing, those 5 steps show exactly what infatuation is. Love is not being possessive over your significant other. You both have a mutual feeling and you let the other one do stuff and talk about other people for gods sake. Butterflies in your stomach means you're nervous not in love. When you first kiss someone it's a rush of many chemicals that give you that feeling.
To the OP. Don't listen to this person. He has no idea what he is talking about. I hate to burs-well no not really. You're most likely not in love, you're just crazy about this person.
EDIT for your education.

I think we can tell that the OP is not mature. Saying "fk u" to a perfectly honest response is not the mature way to go about things. Once again, your chart is bullshit, that's to tell if you're obsessed with someone. People are not too young to love, they are too young to distinguish between love and infatuation. I personally don't like teenagers simply because they think they're better than everyone else. Guess what man. Adults have been through what you're dealing with right now, perhaps you should listen to them and people who try to be the voice of reason.
Cheers.
