I thought it was amazing how the suns rays were changing colors as the leaves of the palm moved, what are your opinions?

It's funny how things like this come to you at a moment you least expect it. Like, you turn around and then, bam, there's just this amazingly lovely sight before your eyes.
Quite a nice capture. The way it slowly blurs a tiny bit near the bottom adds quite a nice effect as well.

Thats true! Especially in photography, each time i shoot, i always look back at the object and see something that i havent noticed before at all. After the next shot,. the picture has drastically changed from one simple change to the object itself...like this palm!
I havent noticed the blur at the bottom! Thanks for pointing that out! See....something new at every corner! :D

wow. this picture is beautiful. the color and texture make it really stand out. from what i've seen, your alot better then some of the "professionals" that ive seen in the past. i know a kid who's been taking pictures for nine years, and honestly, this is in my opinion, better than anything he's done. he takes nature pictures too. i really like it

Welll thank you! I just picked up the camera and started in the backyard last summer! I would hardly call myself a pro though. There is alway sroom for improvement! I agree, the colors sure are something you dont see with trees and sunlight! This pic was jjust a mixture of luck and hope! :D

Nice colours, could have possibly done with a smaller (larger numbered) aperture so that more of the leaf was in focus.
Yet again though you've got a good eye for composition :)
