VT should have a page where you can make a thread asking random questions, or saying random things. I know i do this a lot and i usually dont know where to post it.

It's for everything that doesn't fit anywhere else. Just as long as it has some type of point to it.

It USED to. Now it's for virtually anything along with rants/vents.

Yeah, I've noticed that.
Following description- it is for venting, yet it's used for everything else such as surveys, birthday wishes, spamming "oh shit! look! I gotz a new smiley," and various discussion.
It's in a GENERAL discussions catergory, but is labeled as a place to vent.
VT covers so much that there isn't any general discussion zone which is why TWPR has an influx of these misplaced threads. :/

They aren't really misplaced any more, as there's so many of them. People have just got used to them being there all the time.

Poor TWPR, It gets dumped with all them sorts of threads :P But yeah, that is your place to say things, etc...
