hey so a few days ago, i noticed something peeling off of my dick head, I thought that it might of been some dried cum that i missed cleaning, but I kept peeling it and it was like a complete layer of skin off my dick head. Just like when you get sun burn and your skin peels. Has anyone had this happen before? Why do you think it happened?

I've heard of this before: it sounds like a yeast infection, but it could just be precum hardened onto the glans. Try washing it with clean, warm water.

If it persists, I would STRONGLY recommend going to see a doctor. I would also suggest that you don't put ANY cream that people here suggest onto your glans. But yea, warm water should do if its just a one off. :)

I agree I dont think you should put cream on your glands. I think you should go and see the doc. It hasnt happened to me before.

Probably nothing to worry about unless it continues. Did you masturbate using shampoo or soap before it happened? That's normally what causes peeling.

Some type of chafing I would guess. Maybe due to the friction and dry skin.
I would suggest maybe masturbating with lotion or a lubricant for a bit. If it continues peeling off then there is a problem and you need to see a doctor.

well, i have not been jacking off anymore than normal. nor have i been using any lotions or shampoos. Ummmm............ I do believe that I have been dehydrated recently, could that be it??

I dont really know if dehydration causes that and, in my experience, masturbating with soap / shampoo causes blotchyness and stinging - not peeling like sunburn.

Is it one your foreskin or the actual head? If its on the foreskin then yes: put some hand lotion on it. If it's on the actual head then just use a bit of warm water.

Or it could actually be dead skin. I've never heard of this before, just wash with warm water a few times a day.
