why does it say im invisible in my profile and it looks to everyone else im offline?

how do i change this?

To disable this: User CP -> Edit Options -> Untick the very top box.

When you enable the "invisibe" mode, it means that you will not appear in the "Who's Online" listing. This means that no one will see that you are online. Most users use this option to maintain a level of privacy.

Like when answering polls, some people turn it on so that people can't watch what they put.

Being invisible just means that you don't show up as online, so your name doesn't show in the list of online people at the bottom of the home page, and such.

It doesn't affect whether people can see what you voted in a poll if the poll is set up so the results are visible.
