MTV's Teen mom: like it or hate it?

The people in that show make it seem easy to me to have a kid. It's not, I would know. I pay for my own child. Those kids just got pregnant, and they continuelly do what they always did, mooch off their parents, but now they have help from their child to do so. I personally hate the show, I feel it gives me a bad name.

The "M" in MTV carries as much weight of a piece of paper. MTV has degraded itself into some teen loving, reality show spewing, piece of shit channel ever to be on TV. There was once a time, believe it or not, that MTV truly WAS Music Television. Music 24/7; what could be better? Now it's all about finding the newest cam whore or big tit bitch who can just BREATHE. Anyway, this show you are talking about is awful. Really, as if MTV could get any worse, they just outdid their FAIL. Showcasing these young teenage mothers on TV is just disgusting. MTV is a big business. Businesses are concerned with what sells. I don't blame them for making it, I blame people for watching it.

I enjoy watching it, it's entertaining. I saw the one with a girl from Tennessee who was into quad biking and i felt really sorry for her being left alone by the father. I'd slap him.

I haven't really seen it but it is an OK show the episode I saw was a girl trying to get her high school diploma so she could get into college. Also most teen parents mooch off their parents, they live in their house, eat their food, still get allowance, and their parents buy the diapers most of the time.

That's why I said most and not all because i know a lot of teen moms that aren't doing shit but I do know some that are doing everything for themself. Most of the teen moms I've come across are that lazy person living off their parents not doing shit but having them pay for everything and then leaving them to watch their kids while complaining about how hard life is.

i know some teen moms who do that too. and i agree it's not fair to the parents or the child. that's why i stand by my opinion of: if you're not mature enough to care properly for your child, find someone who will. a lot of these young parents, like myself, want the child but not the responsibility. that's not fair to the child. the child needs a stable home where they're going to feel like they have boundaries and such.

Exactly I have a lot of respect for teen moms that are out there working and providing for their kids and still trying to get an education and really if they can't handle raising a kid and they just put it off on their parents then they might as well have them sign the adoption papers to them because that's who their kids parents are. My family for example i have one cousin who had a child at 15 and until she moved out of her parents house(when she was 18) her mom took care of her son but as soon as she left she went to school, got a job, and lives on her own paying the bills and providing for her son however her 2 sisters are 19 and 20 years old and they both have kids(horrible family i know) yet they still live with their mom and have her do everything which is an unfit parent IMO.


But back on topic lol the show is ok from what i've seen but I can't really watch all of it without being bored.
