Only the online. Other than that it sucks, in fact the online is a pain sometimes, but I do not mind when I play it with my friends.

Its a very good game; I'm playing it now. There are better games though. Like Uncharted 2.

There's nothing special about it. The campaign is too short, the mulitplayer is the same, basically no improvements, there are only four snipers, which is ridiculous, the graphics are pretty much the same as the first one, and I suck at it.
The game isn't worth $60 bucks, same as Halo3 ODST. It should have been $40 because it doesn't have a long single player and the multiplayer is basically the same, and there is no campaign co-op which is pretty goofy. Spec Ops is only fun sometimes, not all the time.
Oh, and there are too many twelve year olds, and everybody camps which is ridiculous.

I know, and the snipers are so over powered. You get hit in the foot and you die. When I played, I would use the revolver and it takes two full clips, not to mention a ton of dodging to kill someone if you do not head shot them. That is rediculous. Plus, I hate playing with kids that use those double shotgun thingies. Like yeah your good enough to get them, now how about playing with a gun that actually takes some skill? I mean seriously. I also hate how kids who play this game think they are so good. However when they play me in L4D2 they get pissed, when I own them as hunter.

IW said they fixed the rande of 1887's, but I mean, everyone used them hen i rented the game about like a month ago. and lol, being a hunter is always fun. They're just probally not used to using teamwork because MW2 calls for not a lot of teamwork and L4D2 does call for lots and lots and lots of teamwork.

Yeah thats what it is. Its fun though, if you get one of them. Because you can tell, 3 people will be fine working together and all the way up near the safe house will be one guy getting maulled by a smoker lol.

Its not as good as uncharted 2 definitely. But games hyped up to the level that MW2 was rarely are. Like Halo 3.

Halo3 actually has way funner multiplayer than MW2 because of forge. I still play Halo3 with my friedns in custom games because it's way more fun than matchmaking, which I never play.

It's a good game, but I'm kinda bored of it now. Don't see myself going to 10th prestige like COD4.

I wasn't comparing them fella. I was saying that games like this are never as good as we expect them to be, cos the companys publishing them overhype them

Modern Warfare had a way better story, and it was a lot longer, as well.
I think MW2 had a good story, but it was way too damn short.

i thought MW2 was better with COD4 just being a buildup to it. MW2 was like a very high budgeted blockbuster and much more spiritually moving with its high graphics.
it was a bit stupid how the whole invasion of the U.S happened though..
"uuhhh, the moniter's showing thousands of small manoverable military planes on the west coast." "HEY yea i can see even more over here in the east." YOU'VE JUST BEEN FRAMED FOR TERRORISING RUSSIA! HOW CAN YOU NOT EXPECT THIS!!! "uh there must be an error with the sat link." Dumbass story plotter.

I thought it was.. interstingly done, I mean they frame the U.S. so they can invade them.. some how without America knowing, but that's not that point, lol.

i think it was the ultranationalists getting back at the U.S for killing Zachaev or whatever he's called, turning the faction that had helped the U.S in Russia against them or something. how after this America (as paranoid as it is) doesn't antticipate this. they maybe should have added a gameplay part playing a random PVT in the defence force on the coast when the planes are coming knowing it's the Russians etc, and not jumping straight into a blown to shit Virginia.

the reason the camaing was so short was because i think IW wanted to make a way better online experience. Tht is like the only reason most ppl bougth the game

the gaming has always been short of the campaign right from the start. they are all about the same length in game play. but i felt that world at war dragged alot

Well, some peopel like good campaigns. That's why I rented MW2, because I knew it would have a good campaign. That's the only reason I ever play a CoD game.

i had been playing it since "cod 2 big red one" on ps2 and thought it was brilliant and had been getting them since. only when cod4 with its online multiplayer had the series became popular

Man, I remember CoD: Big Red One on the Ps2, it was a fun game.
Call of Duty 3 had some pretty fun multiplayer, but Mw is what put it on the map because of of it being Modern Warfare.

i think the only thing that made it so popular was because of it's vast online multiplayer; bigger than any before.

They did fix the Models range, but it can be counteracted by putting FMJ on. So now instead of marathon for the stupid nooby bastards, they use bling pro.

Its good but its not worth $60. Everything is just about the same. Ill admit, the only reason I got this game is because its what everybodys playing, most people stopped playing MW and picked up MW2. The campaign is short and sweet. Its the online I care about though. And campers are pretty easy to deal with. Just watch the killcam to see where they killed you, then go another way to get behind them and kill their camping ass. And if your on hardcore, oh well, deal with it. Im pretty sure in real life I wouldn't go running around in the middle of a battlefield like an idiot ( I also wouldn't respawn after getting killed, but you get my point ) Another thing is, I fucking hate when little kids with high ass voices play. Its so annoying. Okay yeah im 14 and im playing it, but at least im not an annoying prick who screams into the freakin' mic. And unlike them, Im actually good at the game
I love when you get a nuke. and everybody on the other team is like, "Oh my fucking god you asshole" Its funny

Killcam... What if you play hardcore?
Remember where you were when you died
find an alternate route there
and be careful
Online is COD 4
with shitloads more
martydom annoyance is stopped dead
juggernaut is dead
you die quicker- go into real warfare and see how many shots you take to the back kay?
campaign
Short yes
but also extremely fun
like seriously
what other games include storming a white house full of russians
Strykers going through your street
setting up attack points on tops of restaurants
And boat chases dodging rpgs and choppers?
It may be short but dam is it replayable
SpecOps
basicly
the best bits of the campaign
taken out
isolated
improved
and made playable with friends
what more could you want?

CoD4 didn't put CoD on the map. Go back and play CoD and CoD2; they're the reasons CoD4 became such a highly anticipated game. Haven't tried CoD3, but I heard that it wasn't as good as it's predecessors. And I hadn't really liked the Big Red One, compared to CoD2, it was meh at best.
