Picnic FTW. hahaha It could work if you do it right.
Just think about it for awhile, the perfect idea will pop into your head in no time.

I've always thought that ice skating is romantic but I think you should ask the girl what she likes you know, sort of on the down low, and that will make her happy

Flowers and Chocolates and a Small smile and it doesn't matter if your date is a romantic star-gazing picnic or washing your car. :D

These are all cute ideas. Whatever you choose, other than don't over-think it. You can put a romantic twist on even the most normal and mundane things. It really is, the thought that counts. Perhaps a special dinner? I really like Javs idea of baking. Find out what her favorite meal is too - if you're good at cooking maybe you can prepare her favorite meal followed by her favorite dessert. That would score you major brownie points too.

Does your girlfriend know that? ;]
Just kiddin'. I would agree with Parker and say that just asking her (nonchalantly, of course) would be your best bet. That way you know you're doing something she would enjoy...
